Martabak Station Logo
A very close friend of mine came to me and ask me to design a corporate image for a new F&B company called Martabak station. He and 5 indonesian friends came out with this idea of bring in Indonesian famous delicacy called Martabak manis into Malaysia. But, they wanted to created a brand that is iconic and unique compare to the brands in indonesia. They give me a very straight forward explanation and visualization of the direction of the brand. They wanted a logo inspired from the 'nut cracker soldier'. But, enhance the idea by sketching a train conductor saluting people with his smile. Later i add on the "wut!! wut!!" that resembles the sound of a cho cho train.
Martabak Station Box
The client gave me a picture a simple sketch of a rectangular box with 4 lines crossing in the middle. It gave an idea of taking inspiration from the train map. The colours blue and red is implemented into the design to represents the company's cooperate colour.
